"While not really
a parody, it is an homage that I created, for a long time friend, of
old MLJ/Archie characters of which we are both very fond and I
loosely composed it based on one of our favorite comic covers,
Justice League of America, vol.1, #56 by the legendary Carmine
Infantino and Murphy Anderson. Besides, I needed something new for
this page. And no, the character at the top right is not
Batman...it's The Fox, a 40's character created by Irwin Hasen, who
also created a similar looking character, Wildcat, for DC comics"
